Heritage is a part of your unique story. And now, more than ever, it’s important to share its significance and beauty with the world. In honor of AAPI Month, we’re exploring where each of our stories is first revealed: our names. For many of our AAPI peers, these symbols of culture and identity are routinely traded for versions that are “easier” to pronounce, but never fully represent who we are. Join us in reclaiming our identities by sharing your name and its meaning with pride. During May, we'll donate $1 to Act To Change (up to $30,000)* for every Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, & Facebook post telling your story using #ProclaimYourName.

Sulwhasoo 설화수
Our name, Sulwhasoo means snow flower in full bloom. It reflects our Korean heritage and we’re so proud of what it represents!
Our Commitment to Act To Change
Our goal is to help others feel supported in expressing their true selves, and so we’ve partnered with Act To Change, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to end bullying among Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth.
Act to Change is the only national group with this primary focus, and an interdisciplinary approach that spans education, public health, and civil rights. They envision a world where all youth have the opportunity to grow up feeling proud and supported in their identities.
